Become an ICF-Certified Coach with Imagine Me Africa’s Workplace Coach Accreditation Program.
Effective May 14th, 2025, Imagine Me Africa offers the Workplace Coach Accreditation Program, approved by the International Coaching Federation as a Level 1 training.
The Workplace Coach Accreditation Program is the first and only purely Ugandan program, as of 2026, to hold ICF accreditation, making it more affordable, as there are no hidden transfer fees, since it relies on locally available coaching professionals and vastly experienced C-suite leaders who not only understand the Ugandan context but are also held to the highest global ICF standards. Our coaches are both ICF credentialed and ICF members, demonstrating our commitment to upholding global standards while paying attention to local context, providing a transformational pathway you can trust. When you complete this training program, you will be on your journey to becoming an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
Imagine Me Africa, as a coach training education provider, is a trailblazer in democratizing coaching, as it was the first program in Uganda to launch an openly publicized campaign: “Everyone who needs coaching must find it in the workplace.” This campaign continues to be our anchor. Our belief is that every employee deserves a chance at having thinking space and a thinking partner. The first line of this space is their leader or manager, who can only genuinely offer this support when equipped with global standard coaching competencies. Coaching is a powerful intervention or tool that unlocks employee capacity, making everyone, beyond the C-suite executives, Human Resource practitioners, and a custodian of maximizing the potential of every organization employee.
Our campaign brought to the fore what many coach training providers had ignored, building internal organization coaching pools; with this clear gap, Imagine Me Africa set the pace of what could be, providing the case for veering away from heavy reliance on external executive coaching to having internally based resources who can provide the ICF-global standard within the organization.
Our Workplace Coach Accreditation Program is informed by the latest global research in workplace coaching, building on critical, transformative leadership and followership theories, while letting each participant thrive in their own innate leadership style, whether authentic leadership, transactional leadership, servant leadership, adaptive leadership, or team leadership. Our coaches get to appreciate that every leadership style has its pros and cons, and therefore the need to recognize these differences and use coaching as a powerful tool that enables deeper relationships and authentic conversations in the workplace.
We have two intakes for this program:
January intake, which graduates in May
The July intake, which graduates in November

Structure of the program
The Workplace Coach Accreditation Program is a 75-hour, 16-week training program, with classes limited to 25 students for effective interaction and individualized support.
The hybrid structured program consists of:
- A three-day physical training
- 12 online practical supervised sessions
- Three peer-to-peer observed practice sessions
- Three one-on-one mentoring sessions with an ICF-credentialled coach mentor at Professional Certified Coach (PCC) or Master Certified Coach (MCC) level.
- A deep dive into the coaching world, where coaches have field coaching with our partner organizations to experience coaching in the real world.
Benefit: This program provides a corporate leader, manager, or business owner with the opportunity to have deeply transformative conversations that help them navigate beyond the surface issues their employees or supervisees bring, addressing aspects below the surface. You can do this through established ICF core competencies grounded in Ethical Practice, Trust and Safety, Active listening, Evoking awareness through powerful and targeted questioning, and, above all, designing reliable actions and accountability mechanisms that are derived from insights generated during the conversation.
What else?

The conclave gives you an opportunity to be part of a movement of coaching believers who are spreading word about coaching as an integral leadership tool.
