What we are sure of is if you have discovered your purpose and have your passions aligned, you will pursue these until you join your maker. Finding your purpose and being sure of your passions puts you ahead of yourself as you will then have meaningful work. When you reach what your country or company defines as your retirement age, you embrace what we at Imagine Me Africa look at as Re-tyrement. You have simply changed tyres.

How then do you ensure that this phase of your life is meaningful and enjoyable, this is where you will find the gems and nuggets that are fun.

The one feedback that has been constant across all groups we have done retirement planning sessions with has been: “Why didn’t we learn these things much earlier?” If you have read this line, certainly you will only have yourself to blame for not learning these things now.
